led the successful migration of the payment solution from Banknet to a more cost-effective public gateway solution including Pyconiq. Ensure seamless integration with existing retail systems for approximately 140 retail stores across Belgium and Luxembourg. This strategic initiative aimed to enhance transaction efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Main Tasks
- Developed a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Coordinated with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and retail operations, to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Engaged with key stakeholders, including store managers, IT staff, and external vendors, to communicate project goals, progress, and any potential risks. Facilitated regular meetings to address concerns and provide updates.
Oversaw the technical aspects of the migration, including system integration, data migration, and testing. Ensured that the new payment gateway met all security and compliance requirements.
Ensured that the rollout met compliance requirements for data protection and cybersecurity, minimizing risks while maintaining operational efficiency.
